Math Addicts ("we", "the app") is a math-practice web app. We are committed to collecting as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
You can use the entire core app as a guest. In guest mode your progress (XP, streak, practice history) is stored only on your own device using your browser's localStorage. We do not receive it, and it never leaves your device.
Accounts are optional and exist only to sync your progress across your devices. When you create one we store:
We do not collect your name, address, phone number, photos, contacts, or location. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
Math Addicts is designed to be safe for children. Children can use the full app in guest mode with no personal data collected at all. Accounts are intended to be created and managed by a parent or guardian using the parent's email address. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
When enabled, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate usage (e.g. how many people start a session). It does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not build advertising profiles. The app currently ships with no client-side analytics script until this is enabled.
Account data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) and protected so each account can only access its own data. Local (guest) data stays in your browser and can be cleared anytime via Settings → Reset all progress or by clearing your browser storage.
We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above.
